Small Break! And the 2012 WIPocalypse~

So, I've finished one class in school, and I'm close to finishing two others. I'm working on catching up my third class, and then I'll have three left to catch up. 6 classes left. Woot.
I'm going to be done awfully soon, and it's going to rock. I have lots and lots of stitching and writing planned.

Aside from that, I did manage to squeeze in some stitching recently (mainly because I've been procrastinating. Haha.)
Holly Angel:
SK Ice Wind:
Firemoon:

Yup, that's all the stitching I've done.
I have, however, signed up for the WIPocalypse. Check out my page (to the right of this post) to see more about it. ^-^ I'm looking forward to that, hopefully I'll get a couple of finishes before I go to college in August. Well, I'm back to homework. Bye!

Oh Me, Oh My

There are five weeks of school left for me, and I'm behind like one could never imagine. So all stitching, story writing, and general "fun time" is put on hold until I can kick my ass into gear and get going. I've deduced that I really just need to sit down and do one subject until it's done (because the less work I have the better off I usually am). So reducing my courseload from 7 to 6 would probably be an immense help. Phew.

Anyway, aside from school issues, I signed up for the 2012 SAL on the haed board. I'm doing QS Lover's (I'll post a picture next post) and I'm in love with it already. Doesn't help any that I'm addicted to Nene Thomas's either though. Hmm...

Also, I've put together my 2012 work in progress list. These are the one's I'm actually going to work on in 2012 so that I can finish something. I really want a finish under my belt at last. >->

For stitching projects we have;
QS Lovers by Nene Thomas (I can't wait to start this one!!!)
QS Holly Angel by Jasmine Becket-Griffith (I should finish this, I mean seriously, been working on it for two years now.)
SK Ice Wind by Linda Tso (This shouldn't be hard to finish)
Fire Moon by Nene Thomas (I can't not start/work on this one. I'm in love. Love love love. Yet again though, it's a Nene Thomas.)

For book projects we have;
Reaper's Scythe (this was my NaNoWriMo project but since I seriously failed I'll take my time with it. I still want to get it published...)
Resounding Silence (I actually just started this book, and the way I'm writing it is a little funny. Hopefully it'll turn out okay.)
The Cycles of Clairece Harveston (Well this is a working title, but I'm still plotting this one out. I really want to get this one published too if I can get the plot to line up for me.)

I have limited myself on what all I'm going to do, because while I may have school off from January to August, I still have college to worry about in the Fall and I want to make sure that I'm fully prepared for that.

Well everyone, wish me luck in finishing school! (Even though I probably won't finish until Christmas Break /sobs in corner/.)

Oh Goodness, Shoot Me Now

Gahhhhhh /dies/ Life is waaay too hectic.

In school I'm behind, slowly catching up but I can't do my speech until I get the webcam, and my English quizzes are acting up so that I can't get caught up in those. But I need to get caught up and wayyy ahead if I'm to finish before next month.

Speaking of which, NaNoWriMo is next month, and I still haven't done any of my plotting. I really need to though. I can't let myself get distracted in the middle of my novel like I did last year. So everyone start sayin' a prayer that I can get this done. Oh boy.

I think that's it for today. /sigh/ Bye everyone~

School, Christmas Presents, Plays, and More. Oh boy.

Having just finished reading The Kite Runner I now must make a website for it, and that is sucking out any desire to do school work completely, yet of course this must be done. Joy~ /sarcasm/ On top of that, I'm still working on my research project for the stock market (not doing so well in the game simulation, I am not a good investor) and I have more than one essay to write every day.

Today I also made a list of christmas presents, realizing that I had 3 months to get what I need to get and wrap it all. That briefly terrified me, but now I'm better because I know what I'm doing. Lists make everything better, I <3 lists.

Now onto more pressing means. I am in a play called Oliver, based off the book Oliver Twist by Mark Twain. I was originally just a small part, Mrs. Bedwin, a good role after playing Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors over the summer. Now I find myself thrust into the role of Assistant Director, which entails blocking scenes with the help of Mr. C and the other Assistant Director (I think her name is Anna). Now to add even more to the drama of this play (unintentional pun on drama and plays) I am using Oliver as a "final project" in order to graduate in January. Oh isn't this all fun. /sigh/

Now I also have my best friends birthday looming in the near future, which means I need to get cranking on her present. I'm cross stitching her a little 'K' with a Faerie leaning over the top of it. It's rather simple but it's pretty. So now I have approximately 3 weeks to get this done, framed, and wrapped. Oh boy. Let's hope I can pull it off. e.x

On top of all this, I have NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) coming in November, and that means getting my butt in gear to plot out my new novel. And during that, I still have to write a short story to send in to a scholarship competition.

So to put it all simply, my life got hectic and allll my HAED stitching has been put on hold. /sigh/ Life dealt me a hand that certainly isn't what I expected it to be. Oh well, it'll all be worth it in the end~

I'm going back to building the website now.

School; Why Art Thou So Hard?

So, I officially feel like I got run over by a bus a couple hundred times. School is killing me, and sucking the inspiration to do anything right out. Senior year = not fun at all. I can hardly find time to stitch now and I really wanted to get a page finish on Holly soon. I pulled out Stolen though, in hopes that the simpleness of it would help me relax... yeah... that didn't work so well. I was stuck remembering "oh yeah, I screwed up really bad on this pattern. Fail." and thus I spent my evening trying to fix it. -.-

Other than that now, I'm behind in practically everything for school. Blarg, death to school. I think the only thing I'm not behind in is Government and Econ, and that's because I forced myself to get my butt into gear. I guess it's time for me to do that on the other five classes I'm taking too. /sigh/

Ah well, here's to a semester of hellish classes and high school drama via online schooling. Oh boy my work is cut out for me...

Ta-Ta for now~

Holly Angel and Research Projects

Hey everyone! What do ya know, I finally pulled Miss Holly Angel out and worked on her last night. Got quite far on her, at least in my opinion. I have the rest of the top row and I'm half way done with the page, but I started going down the column as well because it was just biiiiggg blocks of color. xD

On another note, I'm in Economics this year, and the first thing I have assigned is a research project. On the Stock Market. The stock market, of all things. TT_TT So that's going to be seriously eating up my time. /sigh/ Not to mention I'm auditioning for Oliver as my "final project" for senior year. Oh boy. Life is going to be hectic this semester.

At least I'll get some time to stitch tonight and this weekend. ^_^ Yay for house sitting!

Gettin' Started

Howdy everyone~
So, I have just started senior year, and it's a little bit overwhelming. With what I'm doing, I'm going to finish in one semester, and then it's off to college for me. Ain't that exciting? Yeah, that's what I thought too. Haha.

Soo, now I speak of my cross stitch projects.
I finally picked Blue Rose back up, it was hard though because of all confetti I knew that was coming. But I love how she stitches up, so I gave in and just worked on her. Not to mention I needed to work on her because she's one of my stitch-a-longs.
Then I worked a bit on SK Ice Wind. She's my other SAL, and I adore the pattern. I almost have two rows done on her, because I work in 400 block squares. Dunno why, just find it easier I guess. Hehe.

Here's pics~
Blue Rose is first, and then there's Ice Wind beneath it.

Well, I'm off to finish school for today. Then hopefully I'll get to stitch a bit. If not, well~ then I'll just work on my stories. Hehe.
